My name is Linda Yollis and you can connect with me on Twitter at @lindayollis.
I have been an elementary school teacher for twenty-five years. Integrating technology in meaningful ways was the focus a master’s degree I completed. Educational blogging is a passion of mine, and I run an award winning third grade blog called Mrs. Yollis’ Classroom Blog. (Edublog’s Best Class Blog 2011 and Best Digital Project – Elementary in Los Angeles County.)
Teaching Commenting Skills was the winner of Edublog’s Most Influential Post.
This year I was honored to be named the Teacher of the Year for my district.
Here is a link to my Educational Blogging wiki. Learn how to start a blog, teach commenting skills, and see sample blog posts integrating all parts of the curriculum.
It was a pleasure to be the Featured Teacher on Classroom 2.0 LIVE! This is a link to the recording and the subsequent LiveBinder link with resources shared during that session. Look for the tab marked Linda Yollis-Featured Teacher.
